8. She-sheds and Man Caves. You got it. Even mom and dad need a space to get that alone time. She-shed and man caves allow mom’s and dad’s to create their alternative universe.
7. A Garden area. After all, going to the grocery store can be a chore. Why not spend time in the garden relaxing and getting the satisfaction of growing your own food. Your own fresh produce can really improve on those recipes your mastered during lock-down.
6. Finished basement. Having that extra usable space in the basement also provides the family a chance to “go to their separate corners” and have some quiet time.
5. Home Gym. Peloton and Proform had their best year of sales last year. I am sure IFit did to. Home gyms became a necessity since the gyms were closed. They continue to be a must have.
4. Kitchens Kitchens became very important and so did counter space. A favorite COVID past time became baking and cooking. Many people found a new love for creating their masterpieces and as such needed extra counter space to work and store their newly bought mixers.
3. Master Bathrooms. Can you tell alone time became a thing during COVID? This continues Post COVID as a master bathroom can provide that perfect spa experience.
2. Pools and Spas. Creating that outdoor space has become a top priority! So let’s go lounge by the pool and soak up the sun.
And the number 1 Post COVID must have……. The Home Office!!!! With everyone having to work from home, the home office became a necessity. That space you can work from and close off from the rest of the house. ZOOM from a private home office VS. having to escape to a bathroom to get away from the household distractions.
